The signs are clear.
The days of the IRS are numbered.
The American people are starting to wise up. As Abe Lincoln once said, You can fool all the people some
of the time, and some of the people all the time.
But you cant fool all the people all the time.
More and more Americans are beginning to fight back
against the IRS and the huge, overbearing government that
sponsors it. And,
its about time.
In addition to endtheirs.org,
an organization named We the People Foundation for
Constitutional Education, Inc. is getting the message out
to the American People on the IRS.
In the weekend edition of the USA Today, Friday,
February 16, it ran a full-page ad, the first in a series
designed to expose the IRS and demand answers from government
officials. The
ad, which prominently featured photos of 3 ex-IRS agents who
are committed to exposing the practices of the IRS and the
legitimacy of its tax collection practices, had to cost
several thousand dollars. endtheirs.org applauds
their courage, commitment and basic message.
We take our hat off to any organization that represents
the people and demands answers from the government.
Especially since it seems our concept of government has
been turned on its head.
We elect people to office and they seem to think we are
there to serve them and not visa versa. Kudos to We the People for demanding that
governmental officials appear before them and answer some
questions.
endtheirs.org
plans on ordering 500 copies of this ad and forwarding it to
those on our mailing list. We encourage you to visit the We
the People website at www.givemeliberty.org.
We express no opinion on the validity of the legal
arguments contained in the ad, as we have not had the time to
research them. Nor
would we encourage anyone not to pay their taxes because then
you run the risk of going one on one against the IRS and the
federal government. There
is strength in numbers and endtheirs.org
believes we have the answer to the IRS and big, overbearing
government. By calling on a peaceful protest vote from the people and
permitting them to cast that vote without fear of retaliation,
we are allowing the people to take collective action against
their government. endtheirs.org
acts merely as the peoples messenger.
Speaking of the IRS, many Americans
dont like the IRSand with good reason.
But, until now, many of us believed it was a permanent
part of our governmental landscape.
We complain about the IRS, we talk about it.
But few of us generally take the time to do anything
about it. There
is more to exercising our rights as citizens of this great
country than exercising our First Amendment right to complain
about the government to our family, friends, neighbors and
co-workers. We
can protest it, peacefully and legally.
We can exert our will together, for the power
ultimately rests with the people in this country.
And exert it we must if we value our heritage.
On a final note, many Americans are not
only afraid of the IRS but our own government as well.
In this respect, we have a great deal in common with
our founding fathers. They
also were afraid of government, and they didn't trust it any
further than they could throw it. That is why our Constitution was structured the way it was.
That is why we have checks and balances and the
Bill of Rights. As
Thomas Jefferson once said, When the government fears the
people, you have liberty.
When the people fear the government, you have
tyranny.*
The American people are the Rodney
Dangerfields of the American political system.
We get no respect.
Our politicians think we are too dumb to understand
what they are doing, we are too dumb to order the personal
affairs of our own lives and it is up to them to do it for us.
We need to show them different.
And, as more of us come to understand, we will.
That is why it is our goal to get the word out to
people so we can fight back together against our out of
control government by putting its collection agency out of
business.
This has been your weekly update. Stay tuned and stay active.
Continue to invest a little of your time in your
relationship with your government and make America a better
place for your children to live.
